Getting a Mentor will Cost you but so will not getting one!



As per Oprah Winfrey, "A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself." When we say getting a mentor will cost you money, but not getting one will cost you, your career!


But do you know how does a mentor really matters?


Why Mentors Matter

Mentors can give you that extra push to move out of your comfort zone, read books that will help you in your career, and help you learn something new every day! Do you know who can't be a mentor? You yourself! Because whatever be the case you're going to neglect your mistakes and will try to justify them!


Mentors can give you better career growth opportunities due to having insight into their career and life from an outside perspective. They can help you explore jobs or career paths you didn't know about. In fact, Mentors aren't only worth your time but also your money!


Imagine it like this, once your money is utilized in bringing out the best in you, you won't regret ever spending it. But once you lose over an opportunity just because you tried saving money for yourself, the regret in this situation is going to last forever and ever!


So in order to have a smart and guided approach, you will need to have a mentor to take you under their wings and walk you through your career.


How does it cost you to get a mentor?

Every other service costs you. When you hire the best architect to get the basic building blocks of your house in the right way, why can't you have a mentor to get the basics building blocks of your career right? It may sound expensive, but do you know what is the impact of not getting a mentor?


Probably you never heard of the fact that great leaders like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet owe everything to their mentors. Whatever they’re today and whatever they have today - all of it is owed to their mentors!
